    Alex Okoroji is a Nigerian actress, broadcaster, communication strategist, writer and creative leader who has spent two decades at the intersection of art, media, and creative business. A dynamic polymath in the creative industries, she has built an extraordinary career as a performing, literary, and visual artist—moving fluidly between television, film, radio, stage, digital media, and print blending her multidisciplinary experience in integrated media and strategic communications. She is highly recognized across multiple industries for her bold approach to storytelling and authentic brand reinvention.

    She is also founder of The BRAG Media Company, a boutique creative communications agency that provides innovative brand consulting, creative services, and strategic communication solutions to clients around the world.

    As a visionary shaping the future of women's voices, Alex Okoroji received an honor of citation from the Office of the President of the Borough of Queens, New York City, for her exemplary contributions to media, communication and women's empowerment on March 8, 2024 in honor of International Women's Day, which was presented to her by Supreme Court Justice - Hon. Carmen R. Velasquez, on behalf of Borough President, Donovan Richards Jr.

    She also received the 2026 "Spectacular Woman Award for Media, Culture and Narrative Change" and was named on Global PR Day as one of "10 Nigerian Women Shaping the Future of Public Relations in 2026".

    With over 15+ years leading multidisciplinary creative, editorial, and communications teams, Alex Okoroji has cross-industry experience managing executive leaders, contributors, production teams, and strategic collaborators across global regions. She has a strong track record building mission-driven media systems and audience-centered communication strategies. She has advised public sector organizations, founders, business leaders, public figures, and mission-driven brands on communications strategy, media positioning, visibility initiatives and audience engagement.

    Alex Okoroji has written, produced and hosted broadcast and media programming for radio and TV across entertainment, leadership, and social impact sectors. She has led global communications and storytelling initiatives for international networks, policymakers, entrepreneurs, changemakers and industry guilds. She has also directed cross-platform communications supporting advocacy, leadership visibility, international engagement, and public-facing initiatives. She advises on strategic messaging, public positioning, and executive narrative development and also helped translate global initiatives and policy-oriented conversations into accessible, audience-centered communications.

    In 2017, she was first named as one of the "Top 250 Most Influential Women in the World" by Richtopia on their (Women Leaders Top 250 Power List) showing up again in 2018, 2019 and 2020 as one of only 5 Nigerians on the list. She was also named one of the '35 Personal Brands-to-Watch' in 2017 (The Global List). Alex received the 'Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Award' in 2017, and was awarded 'Media Personality of the Year'. In 2017, she was also honored with an 'African Icon Award'.

    In 2018, Alex Okoroji was a nominee for "Woman of the Year in Entertainment" at the Woman of The Year Awards. In 2019, she received the "Exceptional Woman of Excellence" Award at the annual Women Economic Forum (WEF) in India. She received the "SHINE Legacy Award in Media" in London (January 2020) and later that year was also awarded "Africa's Most Influential Creative Consultant of the Year" at the Africa Leading Women Award (2020). In November 2020, she was named one of "60 Women to Watch out for in 2021" by PAW Africa. In July 2020, Alex Okoroji received a doctorate degree (honoris causa) from Rai University, India, and was conferred a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil) for her global impact in media, entertainment and women's leadership. She was also named "PR Woman of the Month" by NWiPR for December 2025.
